Video Tutorials to help you use the planner

The following tutorials have been created to show you how to setup and use your staff planner. We are looking to add more tutorials as time progresses so keep checking back on this page.


Tutorial 1: Managing Employee Data

Tutorial Overview:
The purpose of this tutorial is to show you how to add employee data to the planner and how you can edit and remove employee leave details.

Key Features Demonstrated:
  • Adding Staff to the planner (for both days and hours tracking).
  • Setting up custom fields on the Employee Data sheet to store your own data.
  • Sorting the employee data.
  • Editing employee data.
  • Removing employee data from the planner.

Tutorial 2: Customising the Key

Tutorial Overview:
The purpose of this tutorial is to show you how to customise the codes on the "Key".

Key Features Demonstrated:
  • Overview of the "key" worksheet.
  • Creating a new Leave Category.
  • Creating key codes.
  • "Leave Entitlement" explained: setting up and reporting on custom categories where you wish to track entitlement.

Tutorial 3: Copying Employee data from other Excel Workbooks

Tutorial Overview:
The purpose of this tutorial is to show you how to copy employee data from other Excel workbooks into the planner.
