The Staff Leave Planner allows you to add your own national holiday dates, or other significant dates onto the calendar. To do this, simply follow the steps below:
  • Login to the planner and navigate to one of the Calendar worksheets.
  • Click on the orange "Calendar Settings" button.
  • Click on the "Significant Dates" tab.
The form will allow you to add, edit or delete a date.

How to add a Significant Date
  • Click on the "Add New Date" button.
  • Select the date from the calendar that appears.
  • Enter a description for the date: this is what is shown on the comment for the cell.
  • If you choose to shade the column, the cells on the calendar will be coloured grey.
  • If you choose to show the description, the description will be shown above the calendar date.
  • Cick on the "Save" button. The date will be added to the list.
  • Once you have finished adding all of the dates, click on the "Apply" button to apply your changes.
How to Edit a Significant Date
  • Select the date from the list.
  • Click on the "Edit Date" button.
  • You can change the date, description, shading and show description options.
  • Cick on the "Save" button. The date will be updated in the list.
  • Once you have finished making your changes, click on the "Apply" button to apply your changes to the calendar.
How to Delete a Significant Date
  • Select the date from the list.
  • Click on the "Delete Selected" button. The date will be removed from the list
  • Once you have finished making your changes, click on the "Apply" button to apply your changes to the calendar.
